Description: US-based website with multiple positive reviews and quite high prices. I ordered two essays at a time, and while the first one was well-written and properly formatted, the second was poor in content and wasn’t worth the money I paid.

Ultius is the US-based, obviously established writing website with modern design and lots of information users might find helpful. In particular, they have a blog, reviews, price calculator, how-it-works section and writing samples for those who want to know their writing style. I had two short book reviews to complete and wanted them to be done by different writers and hoped this site would help.

Price Policy

I started with clicking on price calculator to find out if I could afford their services. The price is quite affordable for 5 days deadline and longer – $20-25 per page. However, ordering an urgent paper will cost you a pretty penny. My estimate was $39 per page for next day delivery for each of two summaries. I have ordered essays before and can assure you that this is quite expensive.

Details of order

I placed two orders, one after one, and specified in Additional information box that two different writers should be assigned, if possible. After both payments went through, in a couple of hours they emailed me that the writers were assigned, but I didn’t know if there were two writers. By the way, there’s an option to send messages to your writer in the order, which is quite convenient if you don’t want the writer to miss anything.

Quality of support and writing

There’s customer support via phone and chat on the site. However, I was dissatisfied to see that the chat wasn’t 24/7, as it was offline when I clicked on it. So, I had no choice but to leave a message and they responded in the morning that two different writers were working on my summaries. I felt relieved and didn’t worry about my essays up until the evening. When I finally received written papers, the difference between them shocked me. The first essay was really excellent, properly formatted and I didn’t hesitate I would get A for it. The second, however, was poorly written and looked like the writer didn’t bother to read the book!

Conclusion

I contacted the company regarding my second essay and asked to rewrite it; I also wondered if it was checked by editor as it didn’t look like that. However, I was answered that the paper was on-topic and instruction-based, so rewrite would be paid. All in all, despite the fact my first essay was good, I don’t feel like entrusting my future assignments to them as using the site looks like a lottery for me.
